Request New KBase Developer Account

This page is for requesting a KBase developer account. Developer accounts are for KBase people and collaborators who are developing code with KBase.
If you are just trying to use KBase tools and data, you only need a KBase user account. Go to

All required fields are in BOLD and have a red asterisk next to them.

There are multiple steps in the account request process - collecting your identifying information, creating your account, and finally requesting access to KBase resources. Your request will not be processed unless all steps are completed.

Please Note: If you are not a US citizen, at the end of this process you be sent to an Argonne registration page for non-US citizens. This information is required for all foreign national accountholders. As it's a separate system, you will be entering some data you've already entered. After completing this page, you will return to this site for the remainder of the account request process.

Primary Email Address

Please enter your primary email address. Note that if your email address can be found in our system, the account request process will be significantly shorter. In addtion to Kbase, our system includes account information from the Computational Institute at the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory's MCS and LCRC (Fusion) divions.

Argonne Domain Account

If you have an Argonne username, please enter the username and Argonne domain password here. For some types of accounts, this data is required. If you're getting an ANL account at a later date, skip this section for now and provide it at a later date.
